If you get a cloud web hosting plan from our company and if you use our mail services, you will be able to set up spam filtering for any of the email accounts that you create from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. With no more than several clicks of the mouse, you can pick between 5 separate security levels. If you start getting spam, you can begin with the lowest one and then gradually raise the level till you stop getting spam. We use one of the very best and most popular filters available on the market called SpamAssassin. It ‘scans’ the header section and the body of each email that you receive and calculates a spam score, based on which it either deletes a particular email or allows it to enter your inbox. Hepsia will also permit you to activate custom filters and either get rid of undesired email messages or redirect them to a third-party email address such as spam@domain.com where you can examine them again afterwards.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you use one of our Linux semi-dedicated hosting, you will not have to worry about unsolicited bulk messages stuffing your mailboxes all the time, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin anti-spam filter that we provide with each semi-dedicated account. Our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any email account with a couple of clicks and you can select any of the 5 levels of security – from very low to very high. The level can be changed at any moment if, for example, authentic emails get blocked, or if spam email messages go through and appear in your Inbox folder. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered email messages to be redirected to a special mailbox like spam@your-domain.com and not to be deleted. In this way, you can go through them from time to time to ensure that you haven’t missed a genuine message.
